Freedom 2 Dance Ministry of the Arts ® is a Performing Arts School that teaches, empowers and develops artists so that they can be the creatives that God has called them to be.

We spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through various forms of artistic expression such as dance, art, music, theatre and spoken word. We believe that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are vessels that yield to the Spirit of God to produce creative works for His Glory.  The completed works of art are then used to encourage others while ministering to the lost, broken and the unsaved.

Outreach Ministry

F2D was birthed in 2007 out of Miami Florida. The ministry traveled throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties to spread the gospel of Jesus to local schools, hospitals, and organizations.

F2D is now based in Dallas, Texas. We utilize our platform to spread and share love throughout the vast and emerging art and business district of Dallas, Texas. F2D conveys its message of love by providing the community a space and outlet to incorporate the performing arts as an expressive language. We also provide art and educational programs for the youth, young adults and the young at heart. F2D serves the community through the arts, outreach, tutoring services, mentorship and adopting senior citizens.

Embracing Freedom

Students of F2D will be able to learn, develop and experience TRUE freedom by incorporating the arts into their daily lives. Each individual will be able to express their hearts to God through creative and innovative ways. F2D will depict the spiritual, social and cultural climate of the world today while pointing people to Christ as the answer.  

We will present real life situations through various art forms. Freedom 2 Dance desires to redefine the arts through the lens of a relatable God who desires a relationship with people and meets them where they are. Our mission is to tear down the walls of religion and to reintroduce the world to a God who cares and understands. We embrace the freedom that Jesus paid the ultimate price for. 

F2D embraces the God-given gifts and talents of each individual. We aim to discover, nurture and cultivate the gifts and talents of each individual so that they can carry it out into the world. Those talents will ultimately be the blueprint for each student's calling and purpose.

   Social Skills

F2D© believes in the importance of music and art education. Studies have shown that incorporating the arts into our daily lives produces self-confidence, self-esteem and self-love. These are all attributes that we would like to see produced within our cities, states and ultimately the world!

The Impact of the Arts & Science

​

The arts have also been proven to improve a student’s academic performance in the areas of reading, math, and science. Physical and mental health can also improve through creative movement. Social skills, stress management, are all benefits that an individual can experience through the arts.

F2D is equipped with experienced and well-trained teachers, instructors and volunteers. F2D cultivates relationships and partnerships with affiliates within the city of Dallas and those with a passion and appreciation for various art forms.

Here at Freedom 2 Dance Ministry of the Arts, we are driven by a single goal: to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in spreading the gospel and making disciples. We are dedicated and determined to obey the last commandment of our Savior to love one another.

F2D aims to do its part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision-making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high-quality data evaluation, and most importantly, the Spirit of Christ.
